新华社北京12月12日电（记者刘诗平）12月12日是南水北调东、中线一期工程全面通水8周年。8年来，已累计向北方调水586亿立方米，直接受益人口超过1.5亿人，助力沿线42座大中城市优化经济发展格局。 这是记者从水利部和中国南水北调集团有限公司了解到的。南水北调东、中线一期工程于2014年12月12日实现全面通水。截至目前，工程保持安全平稳运行。今年8月，工程全线的155个设计单元工程全部通过水利部完工验收，为下一步工程正式竣工验收奠定了坚实基础。 统计显示，南水北调工程全面通水以来，年调水量已从20多亿立方米升至近100亿立方米。其中，中线所调南水已由规划的辅助水源成为受水区的主力水源，北京城区七成以上供水为南水，天津主城区供水几乎均为南水；东线北延工程的供水范围已扩至河北、天津，提高了受水区供水保障能力。 目前，南水北调中线水质保持或优于地表水Ⅱ类标准，东线水质稳定保持地表水Ⅲ类标准。南水北调工程改善了群众的饮水安全：中线调水使北京市自来水水质得到极大改善，河南省十多个省辖市用上了水质好的南水，河北省一些村庄告别了世代饮用高氟水、苦咸水历史；东线累计调水入山东54.2亿立方米，已成为胶东地区一些城市的供水生命线。 生态补水方面，南水北调东线沿线受水区湖泊蓄水稳定，生态环境持续向好；中线累计向北方50余条河流进行生态补水90多亿立方米，推动了滹沱河、白洋淀等一批河湖生态改善，华北地区浅层地下水水位持续多年下降后实现止跌回升。 水利部和南水北调集团相关负责人表示，将按照国家水网规划建设纲要和推进南水北调后续工程高质量发展相关要求，加快后续工程前期工作，早日构建国家水网主骨架和大动脉，加强已建工程的安全管理和调度管理，强化水质监测保护，充分发挥调水能力，着力提升工程效益，不断提升国家水安全保障能力。 【纠错】 【责任编辑:周楚卿 】
