A $40 streaming stick fixed everything wrong with my smart TV
A recent review highlights the benefits of using a $40 Fire TV Stick 4K Max as an alternative to a smart TV's built-in operating system. The author found the Google TV OS on their Hisense U8H to be frustratingly laggy and unreliable. In contrast, the Fire TV Stick provided a significantly improved streaming experience at a fraction of the cost of other devices.
- ▪The Hisense U8H's Google TV OS often suffers from lag and connectivity issues.
- ▪The author primarily used a $180 Apple TV 4K but decided to test the cheaper Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
- ▪The Fire TV Stick 4K Max, priced around $40, effectively addressed many of the problems with the smart TV's operating system.
