AICore is turning 128GB Android phones into a storage nightmare
Google's AICore, which manages on-device AI features, is consuming significant storage on Android phones, sometimes exceeding 10GB. This has made 128GB storage capacity increasingly inadequate for modern usage, especially during model updates that temporarily store duplicate files. While local AI processing enhances privacy, it demands more storage space, exposing a gap between hardware offerings and software requirements.
