A 45-year-old anganwadi worker attempted to end her life allegedly after a higher official scolded her here on Friday (July 24, 2026).According to the police, Vennila, a resident of Erumapatti, is working at an anganwadi centre at Sevvanthipatti. On Friday, she came to work as usual and posted a video in which she alleged that higher officials scolded her, pushing her to take the extreme step.
