Anthropic's Claude app rocketed to the top of Apple's app store in February after a high-profile clash with the Pentagon spilled into public view. The company was blacklisted by the Defense Department for refusing to grant the military unfettered access to its models across all lawful purposes. Even so, the company appears to be working its way back into the government's good graces, particularly after the launch of Claude Mythos Preview, a model with advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
