Perhaps they are ashamed. Maybe they really do not know. Certainly, MAGA does not care who it votes for or what their values are, so long as they are "Republican." Anyone willing to call themselves that is good enough for these folk, paying $20k to attend what was really a several-day Trump rally where he could demand tribute from active mid-term candidates. Ask not what your candidate can do for you. First ask who your candidate is.
