Every Saturday, they would gather at the local cafe and bring their homemade cakes and pies; they ate, drank coffee, talked, and exchanged the latest recipes. It was nice. One day, a new visitor arrived from out of town. He didn't say a word, didn't bring any cake, but tasted every cake there was and picked out the best pieces to take home with him. The regulars were confused, but shrugged it off and moved on with their lives. The following week, he came back, drank all the coffee, took every single cake, and left again. People tried to talk to him, but he would not listen. This was unacceptable, so the group decided not to open the door for him next time.
