A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Valia’s short film Lucia, Before and After won the U.S. Fiction Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017. Her TV directing credits include Steve Carell’s HBO series Rooster, Apple TV+’s hit Shrinking, from Bill Lawrence, Jason Segal, and Brett Goldstein, Disney+ and Marvel’s She-Hulk, FX’s Adults, HBO Max’s Sex and the City sequel series And Just Like That…, the Ted Danson-starrer A Man on the Inside at Netflix, and Apple TV’s The Afterparty.
