Can you guess Rock Hard's branding problem?
Jason Weisberger 12:06 pm Fri Aug 7, 2026 Enriscapes / Shutterstock.com Los Angeles' stiffest self-proclaimed superhero is fighting a branding problem of his own devising. Based on the name alone, I had already imagined an incredible origin story involving the ever-popular fateful tumble into a vat of chemicals. His crackling electric baton was named either the Magic Wand or the Rabbit, and Rock Hard's sidekick could only be Rock Steady.

Naturally, Rock Hard has a nemesis: The Ick. The Ick is uniquely able to render even Rock Hard weak or even completely flaccid simply by entering the chat. They battle but never truly do one another any harm beyond reputational damage, and over time become more symbiotic than adversarial.
