I am a card carrying KCLS member from way back, when entering “KCLS” in the URL search box required adding the “(dot)org” to prevent picking up a Netherlands porn site. I like checking out the e-books. I never get a late fine for forgetting when they are due back. One of our engineers from a long ago job met one of their (programmers?tech support?) computer people at some sort of seminar. He said that she was amazing at her tech knowledge and skill. He also suggested it was a big surprise due to her appearance, which he described in lightly vulgar terms. Let’s just say – sexy. (Heinlein would have tsked him for that) Anyway, I think it’s another example of “librarians rule” even though her stacks were the server stacks, not the books. LikeLike
