CPI(M) to hold extended State committee meeting in Kozhikode to revitalise itself
A three-day extended State committee meeting of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] will be held in Kozhikode in September to strengthen the party by reinforcing its organisational and ideological moorings, its State secretary M.V. Govindan said here on Friday.Through the meeting, scheduled from September 13 to 15, the CPI(M) aims at “effective interventions” for a “top-to-bottom” transformation by strengthening the party’s connect with the people and energising its organisational structure, Mr. Govindan told a press conference here.The meeting is expected to give shape to an action plan in this regard.
