According to sources, 108 acres in Arasur, 599 acres in Aiyumagapatti, and 62 acres in Kalathur have been acquired for the project. The foundation for the project was laid in 2014, but work is yet to be completed. Only 108 acres acquired in Arasur area is ready. The plots in Aiyumagapatti and Kalathur areas are not completely ready.In order to provide access to the industrial park, a 30-metre-wide road is being constructed from Madurai-Thondi National Highway near Arasur and the suburbs.
