TL;DR · WeSearch summary

A salmonella outbreak linked to recalled eggs has sickened at least 98 people across 17 states, with 26 requiring hospitalization. The recall involved roughly 1.6 million cartons of white and cage‑free brown eggs produced in Texas and sold at Kroger, Brookshire Grocery and other retailers. Federal investigators say the eggs may not account for all cases and are continuing to probe additional sources.
