Tiruchi MP Durai Vaiko on Saturday held a review meeting over the progress of construction of overbridges in Pudukottai.Collector Aruna and senior officials participated in it. Construction of overbridges at Karuvepilan and Thiruvapur has been the long-pending demand of the people of Pudukottai. Mr. Durai Vaiko, who had a coordination meeting with the officials on January 28, reviewed the progress of commitments provided by the officials at a meeting held at the Collector’s office.He said that the Karuvepilan overbridge was to be be implemented by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). It was part of the four-lane work of the Tiruchi-Karaikudi Highway. At the last meeting, it was informed that the Land Plan Schedule would be submitted to the Revenue Department by February 2026.
