Europe Is Getting an iPhone-Connected Windows 11. Why Aren't We?
I envy the version of Windows 11 that's available in Europe. The EU’s Digital Markets Act forced Microsoft to clean up Windows and give PC users more choice, and, as a result, Apple and Microsoft are now working together to add support for cross-device copy-paste from an iPhone. Windows users have long enjoyed this feature with Android phones, but that hasn't helped the majority of phone owners in the US.

Windows users have long enjoyed this feature with Android phones, but that hasn't helped the majority of phone owners in the US. This iPhone connectivity feature might never arrive in the US because Microsoft isn't pushing for it, and Apple is under no obligation to debut it itself. I really hope this feature eventually makes its way overseas, along with all the other current EU-exclusive tweaks that make Windows less annoying.
