There appeared to be no break in sight for people from extreme heat in central Andhra Pradesh as the day’s highest temperature stood at 47.7°C on Tuesday.While the highest temperature was recorded at Mulukuduru in Guntur district (47.7°C), other places that recorded temperatures above 47°C were Gurazala in Palnadu district (47.6°C), Piduguralla in Palnadu (47.4°C), Kanchikacherla and Vijayawada north in NTR district and Inkollu in Bapatla district (47.3°C) and Amaravati (47°C).Vijayawada felt like a furnace at 7 p.m. as well as the temperatures stood at 40°C.
