Five More Lenovo Laptops To Report Fan Sensors With Linux 7.3
The upcoming Linux 7.3 kernel version will include support for fan sensor reporting on several additional Lenovo laptop models. This is made possible by an extension of the Yogafan driver, which was initially merged in Linux 7.1. The new device support is set to arrive with the Linux 7.3 merge window.

- ▪The newly-added device support includes the IdeaPad 3 15ALC6, Legion Pro 7 16, Yoga Pro 7 14IAH, Yoga 7 16ARP8, and the XiaoXinPro 13ARE.
- ▪The patch for the additional device support amounts to 69 lines of C code and adds proper DMI entries for the laptop models.
