Four Head Constables attached to the Pudupet police station in Cuddalore district were transferred to the Armed Reserve (AR) wing of the district police on Monday for allegedly facilitating illegal sand mining.The head constables were identified as Rajesh, Krishna, Devakrishnan and Prabhakaran.Police sources said the four facilitated illegal sand mining in the area. Following complaints, a preliminary enquiry was ordered and the allegations were found to be true.Based on the enquiry report, Superintendent of Police S.
