French Financial Markets Authority sets June 30 deadline for MiCA licensing
The French Financial Markets Authority has set a June 30, 2026 deadline for crypto firms to obtain MiCA licensing. Currently, about 90 registered digital asset service providers in France have not applied for the required authorization. Firms that fail to comply will need to implement plans to cease operations and offload customers.
