
Google AI Plus and free users are losing access to Gemini models, and it's happening very soon
Google is restricting access to its Gemini AI models for lower-tier subscription plans starting in October 2026. Free users will lose access to the Flash model on October 9, while Google AI Plus subscribers will lose access to the Pro model. Higher-tier plans like AI Pro and Ultra will retain full access to all available models.
