Google Home now lets you preview Nest Doorbell ringtones, just in time for the holidays
Google is no stranger to seasonal doorbell chimes, and ahead of a few months packed with holidays, the company is making a big improvement to how you setup your doorbell ringtones. As part of today’s Google Home update, you can finally preview the chime you’re assigning to your Nest Doorbell from within the app itself, saving you the hassle of having to stand in front of your own door to hear it for yourself. Home now includes audio previews for both standard chimes and limited-time holiday themes, making it easy to know exactly what spooky sound — or Christmas jingle — your visitors will hear whenever they arrive.
