How .BRANDs improve domain security and user trust – even in an AI world
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has reopened the application period for .BRAND domains, allowing companies to register their trademarked names as top-level domains. This initiative aims to enhance domain security and user trust, particularly in the face of increasing cyber threats and brand infringements. By owning a .BRAND domain, organizations can better manage their online presence and protect against phishing and fraud.
