iOS 27 is coming, but it won't be available on every iPhone — here's the devices we don't think will make the cut
iOS 27 is set to be released alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, but not all iPhones will be eligible for the upgrade. Older models, particularly those from 2019, are expected to be left behind. Users can anticipate that iPhones released from 2020 onwards will still receive the new operating system.
- ▪iOS 27 will be introduced at WWDC 2026 and will not support all existing iPhone models.
- ▪The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max are likely to miss out on the iOS 27 upgrade.
- ▪Every iPhone released from the iPhone 12 series onwards is expected to be compatible with iOS 27.
