In January of this year, it was finally acquired by Picea Robotics, a Chinese robot vacuum manufacturer with partners such as Anker, Xiaomi, and Shark. The company wasted little time getting new robot vacuums to market after that. Earlier this year, iRobot launched the $1,000 Roomba Max 775 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, which was then the priciest of its post-buyout U.S. releases.
