Is it hypocritical to criticize AI slop while promoting vibecoding tools?
I recently watched a Fern video sponsored by Lovable & Emergent. Both companies make it easy to vibecode websites and apps. All of these tools contribute to the decline of the internet and the reduction of human content. But then Fern uploaded a video expressing frustration at people using LLMs to generate and upload videos. Personally, I find it hypocritical to say AI slop sucks and yet advertise tools that contribute to the death of the internet.
Hacker News (AI / LLM) files mainly under ai. We currently carry 5,135 of its stories.
