The three-day annual ‘Jyeshtabhishekam’ festival at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati concluded with the ceremonial ‘Kavacha Samarpanam’ (adorning of armours) on Sunday.After the pre-dawn ‘Suprabhatam’, the sacred armours were taken out in a procession, followed by rituals like ‘Satakalasa’ ‘Snapanam’ and ‘Mahasanthi Homam’.A ‘Snapana Tirumanjanam’ (celestial bath) was later given to the processional idols of Sri Govindaraja and his consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi.
