Linux 7.3 To Support The Qualcomm Adreno 704 & Adreno 722 GPUs
The upcoming Linux 7.3 kernel will include support for Qualcomm's Adreno 704 and Adreno 722 GPUs via updates to the MSM DRM driver. The driver also adds device tree bindings for the Qualcomm Shikra SoC and various improvements such as FBDEV emulation and teardown fixes. The merge window for Linux 7.3 is slated to begin in the second half of August 2026.
