Welcome to Linux/mac68k! The goal of this project is to improve Linux support for 68k-based Macintoshes and the associated hardware. Just about every Mac with a 68030 or better processor is usable in some form under Linux/mac68k. A 68020 CPU with 68851 PMMU should work also. Older 68000-based Macs are not supported. Support for certain hardware devices is still under development. For more information on hardware support, see the machine status page. If you're new to Linux/mac68k, see the documentation section where you can find the FAQ and instructions on how to get started installing Linux on your machine. We need developers! If you're interested in lending a hand, send email to the mailing list. Programming and kernel experience is nice to have, but not necessary. Latest news
