Dear How to Do It, I’m a 46-year-old male, and I’m a father and a husband. I have always preferred a specific way of having sex. I like intimate, slow, and rhythmic sex. When I was younger, I thought sex was a performance and did the whole “pumping and hammering” thing, but I always lost sensation. As I got older, I would also lose my erection when having fast sex.
