Mercury Stardust gives guide to homeownership in “Lost and Found”

Mercury Stardust first went viral on TikTok after they explained how to use a ratchet strap, which is a fastener used for securing cargo and equipment. “I just did a video about how to use it,” Stardust said, “and I did it in a way that I wish I was taught. I wish I was taught with the same level of compassion and kindness that I’d never got from anyone.” Stardust added that they ended the video with a much longer version of their current moniker, The Trans Handy Ma’am. Five years later, their book on home maintenance “Lost and Found” will be hitting shelves on Sept. 15. It follows Stardust’s journey with their partner, Ari Gochberg, to buy and fix up a house of their own, while also providing insight into the process for prospective homeowners. “Lost and Found” by Mercury Stardust.
