Microsoft Just "Fixed" File Explorer, But It's Still Broken
Windows 11’s File Explorer is getting a context menu customization tool to help you clean up the clutter of options it has undoubtedly collected as you've installed apps. It’s a welcome addition after Microsoft broke traditional context menu customization utilities with the release of Windows 11 way back in 2021. This fix (and those related to the taskbar) are expressly in line with the company's focus on improving the existing Windows 11 experience, rather than on developing AI tools for Copilot+ PCs.
