Minecraft is getting a new dimension called The Sift in 2027
Minecraft will introduce its first new dimension in over 15 years, named The Sift, to Java and Bedrock editions in 2027. The dimension will debut earlier in Minecraft Dungeons 2, which is scheduled for release on September 29, 2026. Mojang Studios has revealed limited details about the new areas and mobs, while also confirming the game's arrival on Nintendo Switch 2 in October 2026.
