Minister for Medical, Health and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav visited the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Hyderabad on Sunday to meet a six-year-old girl undergoing treatment for cancer.According to a press release, the girl, S. Chandrika, from Mulakalacheruvu in Annamayya district, has been diagnosed with a malignant tumour below her eye. Her mother, Vijayamma, a widow, had appealed through the media for financial assistance for her daughter’s treatment.On learning about the child’s condition, and following the directions of Deputy Chief Minister K.
