In Moss, players guide Quill, a fierce but adorable little mouse, through a storybook adventure. In addition to directing Quill's actions directly like a standard platformer —jumping, fighting, and solving puzzles — the player, acting as the omniscient reader of the book, steps in to help out directly. Enemies can be frozen, and obstacles and puzzle pieces can be manipulated by the "reader" to aid Quill on her journey. The game is absolutely gorgeous, with an enchanting soundtrack. Puzzles are fun and satisfying. Quill is ridiculously cute and likes to be scratched behind the ear.
