The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Thursday announced an extension of its Clean Toilet Picture Challenge till June 30, 2027, with the objective of further enhancing cleanliness and user experience at restrooms along national highways.Launched in September 2025 and extended in January till June this year, the campaign has so far seen 429 highway users report unclean toilets and receive FASTag recharges worth ₹1,000 as rewards, the authority said in a statement here.
