Abuja — Vice-President Kashim Shettima has departed the nation's capital, Abuja, yesterday, for a working visit to the Republic of Benin, accompanied by six governors and top federal government officials. Media Assistant to the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, in a statement listed the six governors to include Hope Uzodimma of Imo; Dauda Lawal of Zamfara; Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau; AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara; Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina; and Umar Namadi of Jigawa. The delegation is billed to visit the Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) near Cotonou, where it would engage representatives of the Beninese government, investors and private-sector operators involved in the development and management of the industrial hub.
