Nono: Sandbox any AI agent in seconds – zero setup, zero latency
Nono is a tool that lets users run AI agents in a zero‑latency, zero‑setup sandbox across macOS, Linux, and Windows. It enforces least‑privilege policies and isolates both the agent and any delegated tools through composable JSON profiles. The project recently migrated its registry namespace to nolabs‑ai and provides quick‑start installation commands.
- ▪Nono supports popular agents such as Claude, Codex, CoPilot, Hermes, OpenCode, and OpenClaw with no daemon, container, or VM required.
- ▪The sandbox isolates the agent’s filesystem, network, and credentials, and can also sandbox delegated tools with separate policies.
- ▪Users can customize or extend profiles via JSON, allowing fine‑grained control over tool access and network allowlists.
- ▪The official registry namespace moved from always‑further to nolabs‑ai, and the old namespace will be retired.
- ▪Engineers at large tech companies use Nono to run AI agents in production workflows.
