Pausing New Challenges – Codecrafters
CodeCrafters has announced a pause in the development of new challenges after four years of operation. Despite achieving significant milestones, including a top-ranking GitHub repository, the company struggled to monetize its platform effectively. Existing challenges will remain available, and the founders are open to finding a new home for CodeCrafters.
- ▪CodeCrafters has over 400,000 users and was the first GitHub repository to cross half a million stars.
- ▪The founders, Sarup Banskota and Paul Kuruvilla, expressed their love for the community but acknowledged the challenges in turning the platform into a sustainable business.
- ▪The existing challenges will continue to be available, and support will be maintained by the Head of Developer Success.
