Perplexity launches AI-powered browser Comet, available via waitlist
Perplexity has launched its AI-powered browser, Comet, which is currently available through a waitlist for high-tier subscribers. The browser features a partnership with Coinbase to provide real-time crypto data and is designed to function as an interactive research assistant. Comet is set to be publicly available on October 2, 2025, with plans for mobile versions to follow in 2025 and 2026.
