The Directorate of General Education (DGE) published the first allotment for single-window Plus One higher secondary admissions for the 2026-27 admission year on Sunday. Notably, the district’s general merit quota is completely exhausted, with all 26,844 available seats fully allotted.In terms of vacancies, Kannur (8,176) and Kozhikode (7,799) trail behind Malappuram. Student admissions based on the first allotment will commence from 10 a.m. on Monday and will continue until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
