PNG-migrated consumers can opt for transfer vouchers to restore LPG connection in future
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has introduced a transfer voucher system for consumers who have switched to piped natural gas (PNG) to restore their liquified petroleum gas (LPG) connections if they relocate to areas without PNG infrastructure. This initiative aims to provide flexibility for transferable employees and families moving to non-PNG areas. Since March, over 7.99 lakh PNG connections have been established, with a total of 10.86 lakh connections now in place.
