Primary Health Centres (PHCs), that serve as the lifeline for rural people, have performed well on many indices, said the release according to the department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.The department said that PHCs are leading in the healthcare services including outpatient, inpatient, laboratory tests, deliveries. In October, 2025, 107 out of the total 1,144 PHCs in the State ranked A, this number went up to 312 in March this year.Meanwhile, PHCs that were categorised as ‘B’ increased from 354 in October, 2025, to 455 in March.
