Redox OS today published their latest monthly status update for highlighting all the interesting developments made over the course of August. Redox OS in August implemented a ring buffer communication API akin to Linux's IO_uring. This can allow for better performance with supported drivers, such as for I/O with NVMe storage. Redox OS has also implemented initial NUMA support as another nice improvement for the month.
