REVIEW: 'Tony'
His name is Matt Johnson, and the three movies are Blackberry from 2023, Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie from 2025, and Tony, just out this weekend. Blackberry, which I thought was the best film of that year, tells the story of Research in Motion, the firm that made the Blackberry mobile device. A modest picture made for $5 million, co-written and directed by Johnson (who also plays a major role), Blackberry has the feel of one of those character-driven indies usually filmed in a house over the course of a weekend.
