Rights panel takes suo motu cognisance of suspected food poisoning at BC girls gurukul school

The Telangana Human Rights Commission (THRC) has taken suo motu cognisance of the suspected food poisoning incident at the BC Girls Gurukul School in Bellampalli, Mancherial district, where around 30 students allegedly fell ill after consuming food served in the hostel.According to an order issued by the Commission on Friday, the action was initiated based on a news report published in a Telugu daily on July 24.
