Scott Wiener's Struggle Sessions
As you may know, California State Senator Scott Wiener is currently running for Congress. Both he and Connie Chan, a member of San Francisco's Board of Supervisors, are competing in the state's 11th district to be the person who takes the seat held by the (finally) retiring Nancy Pelosi. Wiener has been leading the race and won the primary by about 11 points over Chan (41-30). However, Chan has been endorsed by Pelosi so could have a fundraising advantage headed into the general election.
