The Tambaram police are investigating the death of a security guard who was found dead in Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ) in the early morning on Sunday (July 26, 2026). Based on the alert from his relative, the Tambaram police launched a search. A police team found him dead near the company premises, lying in a pool of blood with a severe injury to the left side of his face.Tambaram Police Inspector Chelladurai, after inspecting the crime scene, sent the body to the Tambaram Government hospital for post-mortem examination.
