According to the Tiruvallur police, Tamilselvi, the daughter of Thottikkalai resident Raj, was married to Ravinder, who lived in the same locality. The couple had two sons and a daughter. Ravinder was unemployed and was addicted to alcohol. He frequently came home intoxicated and assaulted Tamilselvi, demanding money.On Thursday, Ravinder physically assaulted Tamilselvi. She went to her father’s house to escape from him.However, Ravinder came to Raj’s house and verbally abused and physically assaulted her on Friday.
