Shai-Hulud copycat worm infects yet another npm package
A new Shai-Hulud copycat worm has infected another npm package, just days after its initial release. The malicious package, chalk-tempalte, pretends to be an extension for a popular JavaScript library and contains credential-stealing malware. Additionally, three other harmful npm packages have been identified, all linked to the same user, raising concerns about a wave of supply chain attacks targeting open source development tools.
