In a blog post, NASA announced that "Katalyst's LINK servicing spacecraft experienced issues with attitude control, causing the spacecraft to spin and resulting in sporadic communications." Two of the craft's three reaction wheels, which are electric motors attached to flywheels, used to make small, precise movements without consuming fuel, were no longer functioning.
